Hotel La Margherita is beautifully located in the heart of Alghero, overlooking the Lungomare Dante (a flat cliff suitable for sunbathing and swimming) in Sardinia in Italy.

Close to the sights, shops, the Cathedral and the harbour, Hotel La Margherita is also near the bus station with its direct 15 minutes connection to Fertilia Airport in Alghero.

Built in 1951, Hotel La Margherita has always been managed by Masia family in Sardinia. In 1999 it was completely refurbished and now contains all of the modern facilities that to-day's traveller requires, yet still retains its historical appearance and significance.

Hotel La Margherita boasts 56 well furnished guest bedrooms. Each room contains as standard, air conditioned, in-house bar, satellite TV, direct dial telephone, internet connection available in rooms (wi-fi connection in the lounge area and in the lower floors) . Two rooms have bathrooms equipped for physically challenged persons .

There is a panoramic terrace, where guests may have breakfast, a solarium, a fitness space and a garage.

A private beach, with white sand, is at the disposal of the Hotel, and guests may be admitted and use beach umbrellas, deck chairs, walking wardrobe and shower cubicle free of charge.

A restaurant provides clients with excellent food and service at cut price for the guests of La Margherita. There is a conference room which may contain approximately 100 people.
