The port's pretty sandy cove, 50m away, features shops, bars and restaurants. The Hotel Puerto de Mogan also has a nice, beach-themed bar, while adjacent Patio Canario restaurant similarly comes recommended. Fronting the swish yacht harbour, it has an excellent seafood menu; try the grilled tuna.

The Hotel Puerto de Mogan rooms are large and airy with marble tiles, king-size beds, comfortable wicker sofas and butter-coloured walls. They all have terraces with a choice of pool-, sea- or harbour-views.
