Welcome to the Hotel Rex in Livorno



The Hotel REX is located 7 kilometres south of Livorno, only 30 minutes from Pisa airport and 10 from the E80 motorway, built directly on the seashore, is a brilliant hotspot on the Tirrenic coast. Hotel Rex is “the” place for a relaxing stay enjoying the blue water of the Tirrenic Sea, and an ideal starting point for visiting our neigh borough! Facing one of the most ravishing bay of the Etruscan Coast, it is strategically located in an area not too far from some of the most famous historical Town in Tuscany, allowing day-trip to Pisa, Firenze, Lucca, Siena, Elba Island, Volterra, “Cinque Terre”.



The Hotel Rex offers very high quality and modern services for you to enjoy a relaxing stay. All rooms have sea view with balcony, air-conditioning, Satellite Colour TV, Mini-bar, safe, hydro massage shower, direct dialling phone, in-room internet connection. Two elevators and a stairway lead directly to the Hotel private beach, offered for free to all Hotel guests and completely equipped with sun umbrellas, deck-chairs and sun beds. The private beach has a dedicated area to the Scuba Diving Center (collegare alla pagina), offering private lessons, courses and professional guides for wonderful dives only maximum ten minutes speed boat journey. The Hotel amenities also include a bar and a self-service restaurant located in the private beach area. Disabled people have the possibility to reach the private beach that is provided with specific conveniences.





The cosy Le Vela Restaurant inspired by the reach diversity of the Italian cuisine, proposes fine menus both with seafood and fine local meat. On summer season guests can enjoy dining on the wonderful Belvedere Terrace looking out to the astonishing Tirrenic Sea and spend unforgettable evenings by candlelight.



The Hotel REX is equipped with a number of halls of different size assuring a range of possibilities for planning your meetings and events from banquets to gala dinners, wedding receptions, conferences and corporate functions, with the capacity to accommodate from ten to two hundred delegates and guests in 2 wide banqueting rooms, a lobby bar and four congress halls equipped with the best multimedia systems.





Guests can find an ideal place for aperitifs and after dinner at the in-house American Bar with soft live music and piano bar.



The Hotel Rex has been awarded with the “Blue Flag” for the year 2008 by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) (Collegare al sito internet), the Blue Flag is assigned every year to selected beaches in Italy analysed with respect to a number of requisites such as depuration of water, differentiated waste and environmental care.
