Welcome to House of Machrie, Brodick, Scotland. For many years the farmhouse for the principal farm on the island, the House of Machrie is to be found approximately half a mile inland from the western shore, near Brodick.
Protected by ancient Scots pines, the House is set well back from the road and has wonderful views across farmland to the 9-hole Machrie Golf Course and the sea beyond. Arran is a paradise for golfers, with 7 different courses, including Shiskine 12-hole course (listed as one of the most picturesque in Europe), and the warm gulf stream ensures that the island enjoys a relatively mild climate.
The House of Machrie is a well appointed in country House style and offers elegant but comfortable accommodation for up to 14 people. There is an additional cottage for five people close by which could be utilised for either staff or additional guests.
