MonteMateo is an Estate of 1 Hectare approx. situated in the Natural Reserve of La Sierra de Aracena y Picos de Aroche to the north of Huelva. The property is next to Galaroza, one of the most beautiful villages in the area. Galaroza is 3 km away and Navahermosa (a tiny hamlet) is only 1km.

In Winter the climate is mild but sometimes wet with cold nights and in the Summer it is hot and dry in the daytime and cool at night. The abundant vegetation and surrounding hills make it much cooler in the Summer than in other areas of Andalusia.

The Estate is situated in a sloping, sleepy valley protected from the winds and more importantly, south facing. The house, which sleeps six, is surrounded by a huge garden that comprises olive groves, cork trees, a pear orchard and various bathing pools.

The two storey cottage of 110 m2 is completely new and fully furnished. It comprises a dining/drawing room with fireplace, TV, DVD, and stereo, a fully-fitted kitchen/breakfast room, three double bedrooms complete with linen, two bathooms (including towels), a 60 m2 veranda and a terrace.
