Welcome to the Hulihee Palace situated on Alii Drive in Kailua Kona, Hawaii, United States. Hulihee Palace was the vacation residence of Hawaiian royalty. Today it is a Museum operated by the Daughters of Hawai`i and is a showplace of beautiful furniture and fascinating artifacts.

Today, Hulihee Palace consists of six large graciously appointed rooms and two large inviting ocean front lanai and lovely grounds. Come see for yourself - online or in person.
* Entry Hall contains a King's souvenir from a trip to California.
* Kuhio Room houses a wonderful koa table and a Queen's traveling trunk.
* Kuakini Room display's many articles from our past.
* The Lanai - King Kalakaua widened the lanai.
* Second Floor Sitting Room is furnished with typical Victorian furniture and several Royal accessories.
* Princess Ruth's Bedroom contains some of her personal furniture.
* Kawananakoa Room is filled with interesting furniture from the Kalakaua Dynasty.
* The Grounds include a historic fish pond.
* Mokuaikaua Church is directly across from the Palace.
* Ahu`ena Heiau was the site of the Capital of Hawai`I from 1812-1819.
The Hulihe`e Palace's magnificent oceanfront location is a prestigious venue for your special event. If you are planning a wedding reception, cocktail party, a casual get together or even a formal dinner, the Hulihe`e Palace could be the ideal location. Up to 300 people can be accommodated on the grounds.

A small gift shop is located on the Palace grounds. We encourage you to visit, and select a unique locally handcrafted item or an informative book on Hawai'i and our unique culture.
The Daughters of Hawai`i are proud to present the Hulihe`e Palace Concert Series. These concerts of Hawai`ian music, singing and hula are presented on the ocean lanai of the Hulihe`e Palace in Kailua-Kona on the Island of Hawai`i on monthly basis. Each Concert honors one of the most love monarchs of Hawai`i.
