At Ichikawa Japanese Cuisine we wood-smoke and grill our own meats and fish in our open kitchen, adding many new seafood, beef, poultry, pork and vegetable dishes to complement our famous Sushi, Sashimi, Noodles, Tempura and Soups. Everybody loves our food.
Also new to Port Townsend is Ichikawa Japanese Cuisine's Tatami Room, offering single-table seating for eight or more in a world of its own,  perfect for business meetings or family gatherings. Of course, you may also choose the Sushi Bar, Booth or Table seating.  Take-out and Party Platters are also available.
Since July 2000, Ichikawa Japanese Cuisine has been serving the finest Japanese cuisine on the Olympic Peninsula - we're a favorite of Port Townsend residents, and we have regular customers coming from up to 50 miles away.
Our name means "River City" and is a tribute to Port Townsend’s sister city Ichikawa, in the Japanese prefecture of Hyogo.
Our chefs at Ichikawa Japanese Cuisine create unique specials appropriate to the season and seafood availability; a lot of effort goes into finding the very best seafood, shellfish, vegetables, noodles and specialty ingredients from the Olympic Peninsula, San Juan Islands, Puget Sound, Alaska, Japan and all over the world.
