The Ignitor Electronic Ignition is a set of electronic points which replace the points and condenser with a electronic igniter module and magnetic trigger fitting entirely inside the distributor cap. It is designed to function with a points type coil and does not use or need a electronic coil. The Ignitor is waterproof and does not need setting again once fitted, and uses the same screw holes and hardware so no machining or modification need to be made. In an emergency, the points can be re- fitted should there be any electrical problems and provide extra safety when travelling in the bush.
