Conceived from the idea of several entrepreneurs from the tourist islands, Ischia in Tavola hopes to spread Ischian and Partenopean gastronomic culture by recreating, above and beyond the more commonly known Partenopean dishes, the traditional cuisine tied to the Isola d'Ischia.
The realisation of this Restaurant lies in its own local kitchens, where sauces, first courses, meat and fish main courses, and Ischian side dishes are all prepared in real time. The dishes, which are not prepared until they are ordered on line, are made with absolutely the freshest, finest quality ingredients. They are then packed in their appropriate containers, protectively sealed, and sent out, with dry ice, in a special polystyrene wrapping. Delivery is, thus, made in this temperature-controlled environment ,all with maximum safety. Each phase of preparation is double-checked in accordance with the HACCP control system standards, under the guidance of the Seconda University of Naples, run by the department of Microbiology and its Microbiology Clinic.
