Welcome to The Jockey Club in Washington D.C., United States. The Jockey Club completed an extensive restoration in 2008 and returned to the heightened standards of elegance and charm that defined it for forty years. A Restaurant as famous for its people watching as its excellent cuisine, The Jockey Club has hosted eight Presidents and their First Ladies, Hollywood royalty, generations of Washington Insiders, and dignitaries and diplomats from the far reaches of the globe. The new Jockey Club?s classic menu, created by Chef Daniel Bruce of the Boston Harbor Hotel, has been reinterpreted with modern presentation, innovative ingredients, and an extensive wine list that celebrates the international flavors of its neighborhood along Embassy Row. The executive chef, Richard McCreadie, will lead the culinary team in serving Jockey Club fare morning, noon and night.
Chef McCreadie has more than three decades experience running Restaurants in luxury hotels. A Scotsman, Chef McCreadie spent the first ten years of his career working in luxury boutique hotels throughout the United Kingdom. These boutique hotels, known in the UK as ?country houses,? have their own gardens and greenhouses where Chef McCreadie was able to ?get his food from the ground,? as he likes to say. From this experience a passion and commitment developed for Chef McCreadie to make fresh food his top priority.
We look forward to welcoming you to The Jockey Club, Washington D.C., United States.
