Welcome to the Kenilworth Guest House in Windermere, England, United Kingdom. Built in 1896, Kenilworth Guest House has retained many original Victorian features whilst being recently refurbished and redecorated to now offer the modern comforts of six en-suite bedrooms.
All of our rooms now benefit from full double glazing and central heating - be assured that warmth, comfort and cleanliness are our priorities.
In addition, we have retained our spacious ground floor guests? lounge where you can relax and spend some time planning your days? activities. Having been lifelong visitors to the Lake District we can offer advice on the many and varied things to see and do in this beautiful corner of England.
All of our six guest bedrooms are now en-suite and comfortably furnished with practicality in mind - warmth, comfort and cleanliness being our priorities. All of the beds and mattresses have recently been replaced and so, along with some fresh air and exercise, a good night's sleep should follow! We can now offer a spacious king-size double bedroom in addition to two doubles, one twin, one family and one single room.
All of the bedrooms have the usual facilities such as flat screen colour television, fluffy towels, refreshment tray with tea, coffee, herbal infusions and crunchy biscuits (delicious hot chocolate in the winter!). Fresh milk is available on request. There is also a hairdryer, alarm clock and wineglasses in each of the bedrooms. The single room also has its own DVD player.
All of the bedding is man-made, with allergy sufferers in mind, and all of the beds have duvets rather than blankets. The en-suites all have shower, washbasin and toilet and an illuminated electric shaver point.
