Ki's Story:
Back in 1980, after working three years in the health food business, "Ki" (Catherine) Holcomb decided it was time to strike out on her own. After forming a partnership with her son, Barry, they located a spot in Cardiff and called it Ki's Juice Bar.
In the beginning, Ki's concept was simple: offer fresh carrot juice, vitamins, and some groceries. In a very short time, it became evident that what people wanted most was a variety of fresh juices, smoothies, and Ki's home cooking prepared in a healthy manner.
After fifteen years of continual growth, Ki and family moved their Restaurant to the beach in Cardiff-by-the-Sea where it resides today offering an array of food and drinks made from high-quality organic (when possible ) fruits, vegetables, grains, eggs, dairy, fresh fish, poultry products and beef.
To quote Ki, "It is our goal to serve low in saturated -fat, great tasting, organic, healthy food and drinks, while striving to have an atmosphere of friendliness. Every customer is special at Ki's Restaurant."
