Welcome to the Kilmichael Country House Hotel in Brodick, Scotland, United Kingdom. All the rooms are elegantly and individually decorated to retain the look and feel of a particularly attractive country house, while still offering the standards of comfort and service associated with the best Hotels.
Kilmichael is believed to be the oldest house on the isle of Arran. It is certainly among the richest in its historic associations. Situated at the heart of grounds granted to the forebears of its builders by King Robert the Bruce in 1307, it occupies a spot known to have been inhabited long before that, indeed the name Kilmichael indicates the site of one of the earliest Christian missionary cells, dedicated to St. Michael.
All the rooms at Kilmichael are furnished and equipped to the highest standards and all have both bath and shower en suite.
Each has a telephone, television, CD player, clock radio, tea tray and hairdryer, as well as an iron, shoe-cleaning kit, books of local interest, an Ordnance Survey map of the island and a folder of useful local information.
All beds except twins and the single are "King size" (American "Queen size").
Each room is decorated differently and has fresh flowers, fruit and a wee dram of whiskey to welcome you on arrival, as well as a range of toiletries from Crabtree and Evelyn and Arran Aromatics.
All bedrooms except the Fullarton Suite are on the ground floor.
Free WiFi internet is accessible in the Yellow Drawing Room in the main house.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Kilmichael Country House Hotel, Brodick, Scotland, United Kingdom.
