Tamaki Ando, an accomplished culinary professional, is the chef of Kimonos restaurant located in the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, Lake Buena Vista, Florida, United States.
A native of Tokyo, Japan, Ando is a graduate of the prestigious Culinary Academy in Tokyo. She also studied in Italy and France during her tenure at the Academy. After her graduation in 1998, Ando spent five years as an instructor for the academy, specializing in Chinese, Japanese and French cuisine.
Chef Tamaki is in charge of the overall operations of Kimonos - which is noted worldwide for its sushi and authentic Japanese atmosphere – and will bring a new flair of sushi trends and a variety of alternative Asian flavors and dishes to its cuisine.
