The Klondyke Hotel is one of the town's newest businesses, since it opened in July of 2003. Ray Butt, the owner, realized a long time ambition to provide an attractive small Hotel and conference facility for the town. He ensured the Hotel was situated so that guests would be able to enjoy an unobstructed view of Bay Roberts harbour. All rooms in the Hotel enjoy a view of the harbour. Rooms on the west overlook the historic Coish and those on the east face towards the Klondyke and Fergus Island.
Ray believes that the proximity of the Hotel to town attractions such as the Bay Roberts East Heritage Walking Trail and the Klondyke Days events will bring many guests. In addition, the Klondyke Hotel offers a central location for touring the whole Avalon peninsula, since all areas are within easy driving distance.
The Klondyke Hotel - Being just 55 minutes from the center of St. John's makes the Hotel an attractive location for tourists visiting the east coast of the province.
