Consider this a warm invitation from Chris and Jon here at Kountry Living Bed &Breakfast to come and relax in an atmosphere that encompasses the essence of Oneonta's country ease. We are located in the Leatherstocking Region, New York in the Untied States, where one can capture the charm of our federal style house in a way that will take you back to yesteryear, when a weekend away meant leisurely drives through quaint villages.
Immaculately kept, the warm ambiance of Kountry Living Bed & Breakfast, our 140 year-old house creates a gratifying experience that will allow any guest to feel at home. Our rooms are cozy, comfortable, and tastefully decorated with country furnishings that are accented with family heirlooms. Once named â??Kenjochetyâ? (a home out of the Multitude), Kountry Living Bed & Breakfast was built in 1868 amidst 260+ acres. The estate functioned as an active dairy farm up until the late 1940â??s. The property encompassed land on both sides of the road from the Delaware line behind us and up to the Susquehanna River.
All rooms at Kountry Living Bed & Breakfast have cable color TVs,(some with DVD players), high speed WiFi internet access.
We encourage everyone to make themselves at home and relax with a movie in the living room, or enjoy a fire while nestled up on the sofa. Feel free to lounge on our Yankee-themed landing with a game of chess, or you can just take in the relaxing sounds of our babbling brook on our screened-in porch to watch the many visiting birds that enjoy our bird feeders.
