There are also several exceptional restaurants just a short drive away.
Kowhai Cottage is located in a quiet side street near the centre of Motueka, the little tourist town which serves the famous Abel Tasman National Park with its stunningly beautiful beaches. A 15/20 minute drive brings you to Kaiteriteri Beach or Marahau, both starting points for water taxi trips, kayaking, swimming with seals and walking adventures in the Park. Or you can choose to relax with a picnic and a book on one of the many lovely little beaches nearby.
Your bedroom is sunny and very spacious. It is simply and tastefully decorated with a divinely comfortable queen bed with 100% quality cotton linen, a couch and coffee table, a well equipped mini-kitchen with fridge and microwave, TV/DVD, hairdryer, iron and ironing board and heater. And there is plenty of storage if you wish to unpack and make yourself at home. A single trundler bed is available for an additional adult or child in your room.
A second bedroom is available if you are a family or two couples traveling together. It is a large attractive room with a queen bed, tea and coffee making facilities, fridge, armchairs, coffee table, desk and television and ample storage. Additional single mattresses can be set up for children. This room shares the bathroom.
Your bathroom is attractively timber lined, has a tub and shower and is adjacent to the bedrooms. Towels and cotton bathrobes are supplied. Beach towels can be borrowed.
Your rooms are very private and have their own entrance off the veranda allowing you to come and go as you please. Laundry facilities and wireless internet are available upon request.
