Lavender Lodge is located in the little town of Shelly Beach, on the south coast of KwaZulu-Natal on the south coast of South Africa.

Lavender Lodge an upmarket Self Catering and B&B accommodation option that provides you with all the comforts and amenities you would expect from a hotel.

The property is a single storied house with 2 of our Self Catering rooms on the 1st floor and the other 3 rooms (1 B&B, 1 Self Catering and the honeymoon suite) all on the ground floor. We recently completed our Honeymoon suite which is without question our favorite of the all the rooms. Each room has tea making facilities, fans & TV. The Self Catering rooms each have open plan kitchens with a fridge, cooker, microwave, cutlery and crockery.

The African Queen
Situated on the ground floor, with the entrance separate from the main house, The African Queen is ideal for a family of 4 who are coming to Shelley Beach in KwaZulu-Natal, for the for some sun and sand and are looking for comfortable accommodation in a safe private area. Designed in an African theme, you are welcomed with Biltong and a cold beer.

The Egyptian Suite
Situated at the end of our property is The Egyptian suite, a small cosy 2 sleeper master en-suite room with its own tea making facility. Breakfast is at the house courtesy of Maggi's magical touch in the kitchen.

The Emperor
The Emperor suite is situated away from the main house and is biggest of all our rooms. Accessed via a private stairway, the suite has a large patio (perfect for braai) that leads into the main area. This suite has a second room that makes it perfect for a family of 4. The Emperor room is designed in a Chinese theme with paintings, bed spreads and decor items all reflecting the art from the east. Whats great about this room is the space and privacy it offers you.

The Royal Suite
Situated on the first floor of the house, which is accessible via a separate entrance from the main house, The Royal Suite is the most comfortable type of Self Catering accommodation we have for a couple. The suite has a stunning wooden patio that leads into the room where you will find comfort and luxury awaiting you in true royalty style.

Honeymoon Suite
Without question the best of our rooms. Located on the ground floor of the main house this room offers you all comforts, style and luxury you would look for in a honeymoon suite.

The property has a stunning garden, that we have taken an extra effort to maintain, a swimming pool and patio areas that are quiet and peaceful. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday, Lavender Lodge is the right place in Shelly Beach.
