It was whilst travelling across Europe that owners Richard and Sue Buswell stumbled across a provincial eatery that inspired them. The proprietor, equipped with a rickety trolley loaded with fresh fish proudly presented his catches of the day for you to choose, weighed them and then disappeared to cook it just as you asked.
From this experience and with a little more technology, Lemon Sole was born.
The South's first Pick Your Own Seafood and Fish Restaurant, has a long established name that combines a fine welcome, fine dining and fine atmosphere.
