The Liepaja Museum houses the exhibition ?Ancient History of the Liepaja region?, where the period from the Stone Age (8500 ? 1500 BC) till the Late Iron Age (800 ? 1200 BC) is reflected. Particular exhibits refer to the later period ? even till the 17th century. The Liepaja Museum is located in Liepaja in the Courland region of Latvia.

Latvian Ancient times ? this study is based on the layout ?Liepaja region?s ancient times?. During this set of studies students will get to know how it is possible to acquire information concerning the ancient times, will play picture domino and fill in work sheets (students of 5th - 6th forms).
Liepaja Museum, Liepaja, Courland, offer Ritual Feasts to celebrate the following ritual feasts at the Museum: Easter, the Day of Mikelis, the Day of Martins and Christmas. During these studies students will play games, take part in riddles guessing, count and sing folk songs, dress into mummers, etc.
