Lincoln Park Zoo in Manitowoc, Wisconsin was established in 1935 starting with and elk that was donated, and today features a variety of Zoo animals, wild bird species, mammals, reptiles and amphibians. With natural looking exhibits for animals it's a wonderful educational and fascinating experience for visitors and admission is free although donations are welcome. The Lincoln Park Zoological Society assists with fund raising, and they host many activities and events, they also offer Zoo camps and programs, Zoo tours and educational programs for small and large groups with not to be missed guided experiences. Lincoln Park Zoo is also available for children's birthday parties with the education center meeting room available and an hour with the Zoo's curator of education, it's a wonderful experience for children and adults alike.
