Llwyndu Farmhouse Hotel stands at the base of the Rhinog Mountains overlooking Cardigan Bay with stunning views over the Lleyn Peninsula and just a couple of miles north of Barmouth on the coast of Snowdonia, Gwynedd, Wales in the United Kingdom. Peter & Paula Thompson would like to extend a very warm welcome to you and invite you to spend a few days of relaxation at Llwyndu Farmhouse Hotel in an area of stunning beauty.
Llwyndu Farmhouse Hotel is an old farmhouse, classified as a grade II listed building, was built sometime between 1585 and the early 1600s has been restored to provide very comfortable ensuite accommodation in some very interesting rooms with beams, inglenooks, a stone spiral staircase and a great sense of history. We also have a converted granary with further bedrooms. The accommodation is combined with an informal and cheery welcome, good food and a selection of reasonably priced wines. All designed to make your stay in these parts both a pleasure and memorable.
The accommodation we provide at Llwyndu Farmhouse Hotel in Gwynedd, Wales, is intended to respect the age and character of the buildings, some of which have stood here since the 16th century, while at the same time having the latest comforts. This does mean that at times a little quirkiness plays its part, a sink fitted to a door, a walk in wardrobe in what might have been an old latrine lit by an old mullion window, or an original barn door to keep the weather out, but we hope you will appreciate it for that.
