At Loch Ard Bed and Breakfast a warm and friendly welcome awaits you on our 480 acre cattle farm with its unique blue stone English country style B&B in Port Campbell in Victoria in Australia.
Loch Ard Bed and Breakfast was built in 2005, and opened in January 2006 for B&B, it was designed by Patrick Cox to our liking and requirements to capture magnificent the views and the winter sun. Charming lace and chandeliers adorn the two spacious Guest Rooms with large ensuites, a guest lounge and kitchenette.
The Guest Rooms:
The Guest Rooms have Queen sized beds, with one also having a day bed. All beds have electric blankets and both rooms have a leather lounge, TV, DVD, clock radio, and split system heating and cooling.
The Ensuites:
The ensuites are very spacious with heater and fan, hair dryer, double all glass showers, and are very elegantly decorated. Even the ensuites have a peaceful view.
Meals:
A four-course breakfast is served by your host down stairs in the formal dining room with ocean views, or in the eating nook with the winter sun and views of the farm to the north and ocean to the south. This meal is included in the price of your accommodation. Evening meals, picnic lunch, and BBQ are optional extras by arrangement. We are not licensed to serve alcohol.
The Kitchenette:
The kitchenette has a bar fridge, hot water jug and microwave. Tea, coffee, Milo, fruit and cookies made by Win from her favourite recipes are yours for no extra cost.
The Lounge:
Relax in the guest lounge by the wood fire with your coffee and cookies and enjoy awesome ocean views or take your coffee onto the balcony or sit and chat with us over a cupper. Pure luxury!
There is an abundance of wildlife at Loch Ard Bed and Breakfast in Port Campbell in Victoria. Kangaroos graze on the pasture just near the B&B, foxes roam the fields, eagles glide by along with all manner of bird life.
Horses are also welcome.
Drive or take a helicopter ride along out beautiful coast line. See from the air the 12 Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge, Port Campbell, London Bridge, Bay of Martyrs and much more.
A short drive to the glow worms, Triplet Falls, walk in the tree tops, view the re-enactment of the Loch Ard wreck by laser light, lakes, craters, and waterfall. Or fish at our quaint little fishing village.
