Welcome to the Lock Cottage, Topsham, United Kingdom. This was the lock keepers Cottage beside the Exe estuary and on the canal bank and now available as accommodation for field study groups,outdoor enthusiasts and perfect for bird watchers.
Exminster Marshes and Bowling Green Marsh within easy reach. The canal has a purpose built traffic free cycle/walk way that goes all the way to Exeter, so the cottage can be reached by walkers, cyclist and canoeist . The closest point by car is appox 500 meters from the Lock Cottage.
Although remotely located Lock Cottage is only a short ferry ride across the river to the Historic town of Topsham with all the shops and amenities. It is not suitable for young children.
