Situated at the southern base of the Coromandel Peninsula, Waikato, and bordering the Kaimai Mamaku Forst Park, The Log Cabin in Waihi, is the perfect place to stay and relax with family or chill out with friends for a few days in New Zealand.
The Log Cabin can accommodate up to 12 people in 4 large bedrooms. There is a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms
and a cedar hot tub for your indulgence.
The open plan downstairs flows onto
extensive outdoor entertaining decks.
The Log Cabin is situated on 12 organic acres
in the heart of the pristine Waitawheta Valley.
It's only a short 10 minute drive to all the ameneties of Waihi and a pleasant 20 minute drive to beautiful Waihi Beach. With several deep swimming holes to bathe in, in the adjacent Waitawheta River and a large network of well maintained walking tracks from the boundary of the property, The Log Cabin is an excellent place to base yourselves whilst exploring the enchanting Southern Coromandel area in Waikato.
Open Planned Living Area. The downstairs area of The Log Cabin comprises open planned lounge and dining with a large kitchen.
There is also a downstairs bathroom with a shower. There is a choice of large swimming holes in the adjacent river and a few smaller pools to bathe in.
In the largest swimming hole it is possible to swim over 100 metres in a straight line without touching the bottom. We also have a kayak for your enjoyment. This is usually tied up down by the river.
At present we are establishing The River Garden which is by the largest swimming hole.
In the height of the summer season there is a tipi in this garden for your use as a changing room, shade, or just as a chill out zone.
