Welcome to the Long Cottage Bed and Breakfast located in Braunton in England in the United Kingdom.

Your stay at Long Cottage Bed and Breakfast combines access to all the wonderful countryside of North Devon with a tranquil base to relax in in England.

Long Cottage Bed and Breakfast has three bedrooms, all with their own bathrooms. There is also a lounge for guests with sofa, armchairs, MP3/ipod player, TV and refreshment facilities.

Our location in Barunton sets us within easy reach of the beaches of Croyde, Saunton, Putsborough and Woolacombe and just 1 mile from Georgeham and the best pub in the area!

Bedroom 1: with a 5'0" (King Size) double bed and an ensuite bathroom.

Bedroom 2: with a 5'0" (king Size) double bed and private bathroom

Bedroom 3: with attached private bathroom, this room has a number of permutations; either a 6'0" (SuperKing Size) double with a single bed or with three single beds

Breakfast at Long Cottage is in the guest dining area, and ranges from a traditional Full English to a Continental Breakfast of freshly cooked Baguette and a couple of Croissants.

Full English Breakfast - for our ingredients we try to source local, Sausages from Withecombes Butchers in Barnstaple, Devon Free Range Eggs, Mushrooms and Tomatoes from Braunton (when in season), however Beans are Heinz from a tin and proud of it!

As a surfer you know how unpleasant it is to pull on a cold wet stuit next day - no need at Long Cottage, rinse your suit then dry it in our drying rack, and dry your rashies etc in our boiler room - now that's luxury!

On top of this we are under 10 mins from any of our beaches, Croyde for those of you sticking to shortboards, Puts and Woolacombe for underrated waves or come to the dark side at Saunton - where 9'0" is a short board!

If you are new to the area we can offer suggestions about where to go on a given day according to wind direction and tides to maximise your surf trip.

If you don't surf, there is plenty to do in the area. Either take one of the walks in area, along the cliffs or inland. We have plenty of walking guides and OS maps to borrow. If you don't fancy that then cycling - both on and off road is available or even chill out in our guest lounge with the Sunday Papers!

In addition, Karine is a massage therapist and can ease your stresses with a relaxing aromatherapy massage - call her for bookings and treatment times.

All our guests are welcome to use the garden, whether you want to relax after an active day on the beach or just to sit in the sun with a cold drink.

If you would like to use the BBQ, it is available by prior arrangement for a small fee. We do offer a basic kit for the BBQ such as oil, herbs, utensils, basic cooking ingredients as well as a contribution to the Gas and cleaning of the plates.There is also plenty of off road parking for up to 6 cars at our location in Barunton in England.
