The Lord Nelson has 32 en-suite bedrooms with single, twin and double rooms available along with our Lord Nelson Suite which history tells us Lord Nelson himself stayed in when he visited the Hotel in 1802.

Our reception staff at The Lord Nelson Hotel are welcoming and friendly and offer a range of secretarial services to the travelling business person. Served in our relaxed, open plan dining/bar area, we offer a vast menu which is a combination of classic Welsh dishes and traditional pub food.
The Lord Nelson Hotel has a fabulous range of draught beer including premium beers such as Heineken, and Brains S A smooth. We also serve a selection of traditional Brains cask beers.
We boast a large beer garden with seating and sunshade making it a fantastic place to enjoy a drink in the sun overlooking the water. We have a pool table, dart board and plasma television screens in the bar with a huge pull down screen for those all important matches!
The Lord Nelson Hotel has two function rooms. The Hamilton Room overlooks the harbour and can be used for meetings and conferences and smaller functions for up to approximately 35 persons.
The second room, the Trafalgar Suite, is a large function hall seating up to 80 guests with up to 200 guests for an evening reception. The Trafalgar Suite has its own private bar, outside smoking area and toilet facilities. It is a very popular wedding and dinner venue as we have years of experience of catering for large numbers and have a dedicated team of chefs and waiting staff to cater for your every need.
The Lord Nelson Hotel has a Civil Ceremony Licence allowing couples to hold their joining ceremony with us.
