Maine Veterans' Home in Bangor, Maine, opened its doors in 1995 as one of 6 multi service Homes, and has a delightful location that looks out over the banks of the Penobscot River. Our facility comprises of a 40 bed rehabilitation and skilled nursing care unit, a 40 bed unit for Alzheimer and dementia residents and a 30 bed unit for residents with early stages of dementia. Amenities at our veterans Home include separate dining and living rooms for units, therapy gyms, modern therapy facilities, a lounge with television, organ and piano.
