A happening place, Mainely Brews Restaurant and Brewhouse was established in the historic Post Office building in the center of downtown Waterville, Maine. We completely renovated the bar, lounge area, kitchen and added a function room called The Vault. This roomy dining area with pub-style seating and full windows allows a more private dining experience. Because it's separated from the main lounge area, The Vault is a great place to take the whole family. We have a Kid's Menu and always enjoy serving our littlest clientele. The Vault is also available for private parties and business functions. One of the oldest safes in the area is located in The Vault, who knows what that safe held during its long years of service.
Our restaurant offers a wide range of delicious foods including home-made soups, award-winning chili, and freshly made appetizers like Mozzarella Balls and Southwest Chicken Rollups. Our fabulous vegetarian offerings include Tuscan Tofu and Asian Stuffed Portabella Mushroom. You'll find our stellar entrees, such as Teriyaki Tuna and Peppercorn Encrusted Sirloin, out of this world. We also offer World-Class Burgers ranging from the Boston Burger to the Amsterdamer, topped with sautéed mushrooms, onion and Swiss cheese. Our brews honor the history of Waterville while making history ourselves as a place for fun times, friendship, fine food, and fantastic beer. Our signature brew, the Two Cent Bridge Ale, is named after the foot suspension bridge that connects Waterville and Winslow. Head Stash Ale is named for campsite stash spots along the Appalachian Trail. Drop Dead Red is named for its potency. Post Office Porter is named after the historic building in which we reside. Da Blueberry Ale is named for Maine's number one exported fruit. 470 Stout is named after the famous locomotive. Every sip of our beer is a true Mainely Brews experience.
