Welcome to the 18-hole championship course of the Makalei GOLF Club overlooking the coast line from the lower slopes of Hualalai, the island?s third highest mountain, in Kailua Kona, Hawaii, off the coast of the United States.

Makalei GOLF Club is a cool, scenic, woodland alternative to the Hawaii island?s many coastal GOLF course experiences. Offering challenging play, panoramic coastal views, as well as nesting areas for pheasants, turkeys, and other wildlife. Over 100 wild peacocks roam the course, including one rare white female. Distinctive features on the course include lava tubes, cinder cones and a stone wall dating back more than 100 years that traverses the length of the course.

Improve your swing at our dedicated Driving Range. Whether your lengthening your drive or focusing on form, this is the perfect place to ensure an improved game of GOLF. The driving range on the Makalei GOLF course allows you to hit towards the Pacific Ocean. We also feature a chipping area and two practice putting greens. GOLF lessons are also available.
