Margaret Fairhall lives and works on beautiful Stewart Island, southernmost island of New Zealand. Her paintings reflect the special island environment of bush, birds, boats, beaches and other things marine. Stewart Island, having retained its unique character of unspoilt land and seascapes, coupled with the everchanging weather and light in these southern latitudes, is a wonderfully inspirational and sometimes challenging place to paint.
