Marienlyst Stadium, Drammen, Norway, has been the home ground of Stromsgodset IF since 1967. The Norway national under-21 football team plays most of their games at the on Marienlyst Stadium.
The pitch was opened in 1924 and was the home ground of Drafn, Skiold and Drammens Ballklubb.
The grass at the Marienlyst Stadium was removed in November 2007 to make way for an artificial ice surface for winter sports and artificial grass for summer sports. Stromsgodset will play their final two seasons in the stadium in 2008 and 2009, then move to a completely new Stadium closer to their own headquarters at Gulskogen in August 2009.
Marienlyst Stadium is the sporting centre of the city, with a football Stadium for Stromsgodset FK, Handball arena (Drammenshallen), athletics stadium and ice-arena for bandy. There is also an outdoor pool area where you can bring your family to swim and play.
