The "Masseria" (a word that defines an ancient self-sufficient rural structure held by Landlords in southern Italy in the last centuries where grains, olives and grapes where transformed) "Rossella" was edified on the late '700s on the ruins of an ancient Saracen installation.
Masseria Rossella, Farm is set on the Mount Rossella facing the stunning "Scanzano" Valley, in front of the "Ficuzza" Wood and the breathtaking "Rocca Busambra", one of the highest peaks in Palermo,Sicily, where is still possible to watch raptors as eagles and hawks. Masseria Rossella Farm owes its name to the quality of roses that grow in this little piece of Palermo, Italy.
The mansion is now completely refurbished after a period of abandonment, and has been submitted to an architectural bond by the "Assessorato dei beni Culturali" (A State Body that oversees the Italian Cultural Patrimony) because of its high historical value.
