Opened in 2006 after renovation of the historic sawmiller's cottage, Matua Gardens Retreat is furnished to reflect the heritage and environment while providing a high level of comfort and indulgence.

With a private entrance and car park; veranda and deck with access from the lounge and bedroom; spacious bedroom with luxurious ensuite; lounge and dining solely for guest use, this is a true Retreat.

As part of an historic cottage that has been extensively renovated to provide a high level of comfort, with soundproofing, double glazing, airconditioning and central heating guests can relax in luxury while enjoying the surrounding natural beauty. It is attached to the owners' own home yet totally private and commands the best views of the harbour.
