Cardinham Woods only 3 miles away has a cycle route and if walking is more your thing 4 woodland walks. The All Saints Way from Padstow to Fowey. This walk really gives you a chance to sample everything Cornwall has to offer. The Copper Trail is a new circular walk on Bodmin Moor taking in Neolithic stone circles, the cheese ring and hidden valleys with ancient moor land, or why not visit the famous Jamaica Inn for that atmospheric local inn experience. For the more adventurous you can go canoeing in Fowey, Lerryn or Lostwithiel. Learn to surf at either Polzeath or Newquay or scuba dive in Looe.
