Welcome to Meadpool House Bed and Breakfast in Brendon , North Devon, United Kingdo. Meadpool House is in a beautiful, peaceful location in the Exmoor village of Brendon on the banks of the East Lyn River, surrounded by soft green hills.
This Edwardian family home provides superior Exmoor B and B accommodation and is an ideal base for exploring North Devon. The Doone Valley, Watersmeet, Lynton, Lynmouth and the wild moors and wooded coombes of Exmoor are close by.
Hosts Ian and Gillian Reynolds assure you of a warm welcome to their home in Brendon near Lynmouth. Relax and unwind in our guests' lounge and enjoy a pot of tea or coffee and homemade cake on your arrival.
This Bed and Breakfast has lovely gardens with the East Lyn River running along 80 metres of the northern boundary. Guests are welcome to bring their own tackle and try their luck for the many trout and salmon which pass by. Permits are also available locally to fish the three mile stretch of river between Brendon and Lynmouth.
There are three comfortable double bedrooms upstairs, two with spacious en-suite facilities and one with adjacent private bathroom (robes are provided for guests with private bathroom).
The two standard doubles have shower facilities as well as baths, while the luxury double/twin room has a spacious en-suite with large shower. Coffee and tea-making facilities are available in each room.
