The Meldrum Arms Hotel is a family run Hotel, owned by the Andrew family & is part of Andrew Hotels & Leisure Ltd in Inverurie in Scotland in the United Kingdom.

Set in the picturesque village of Oldmeldrum, Inverurie in Scotland on the Castle & Whisky Trails. The Glengarioch Distillery is situated in the village. Why not sample a drop of the local whisky in one of our bars. Nearby, there is fishing and fine golf courses available. Meldrum Arms Hotel is a listed building & outside stands the statue of the sailor, which is steeped in history. Oldmeldrum is only 15 minutes drive from Dyce Airport and 5 minutes from Inverurie Train Station.

The Hotel offers good food at reasonable prices, using where possible, fresh, local produce. All meals are produced by our team of chef?s which is headed up by Bruce Harper (Chef Manager) and are served either in the Dining Room or in our spacious Lounge Bar or the Public Bar.

We serve a good hearty Scottish Breakfast to set you up for the day. Later you can choose from a selection of good home cooked meals on our Lunch Menu.

The Restaurant

The restaurant is divided into 2 parts with the lower dining room & the upper lounge area. The dining room is for more formal dining with the tables set with crisp white linen & the menu available as an a la carte option. The lounge area is less formal & is laid up with rich burgundy cloths & here you can enjoy anything from a snack, lunch, or supper. The menus are changed regularly with the chef?s recommendations changing daily. In the lounge steps also lead up to the balcony or attic area, as an extension to the lounge, but can also be utilised as a private area for parties of up to 25.

We also have a carvery available every Sunday from 12.30 -4.30pm which is served both in the dining room or the lounge.

The Bar

This large airy bar services both the resident guests & member of the public. A large range of spirits (including Glengarioch Whisky from the local distillery) are available alongside Tennents Lager, John Smiths, McEwans Export and a selection of bottled beers wines & soft drink options.

Residents & Locals can enjoy a game of Pool or Darts, watch Sky Sports or simply relax with friends in a traditional bar setting.

The Swingle Suite

Newly refurbished and elegantly decorated, the venue has its own bar & dance floor, & can accommodate up to120 people for an informal reception and 100 for a formal dinner.
