Minko's Cellar Door, Minko Wines and Providore is located in one of the oldest heritage cottages in the main street of Willunga, in front of Russell Jeavons' Pizza Restaurant in South Australia.
Willunga's Minko's Cellar Door, Minko Wines and Providore - a fusion of Italian enoteca and French providore oozes character and charm. The Winemaking...
Since 2003 our red wines have been made at Hawkers Gate in McLaren Vale, a boutique Winery owned by James Hastwell. Hawkers?s Gate specializes in meticulous handling of small parcels of fruit. James Hastwell?s scientific approach to wine making ensures that the fruit reaches its full potential.
Connect to Hawkers Gate for more about James?s Winemaking techniques.
Our white wines have been made by Simon Parker and Redge Wilkins and our sparklings are made at Patrittis.
Stelvin Closures...
As we wish our customers to enjoy our handcrafted wines without cork taint, we use stelvin closures for all our table wines including reds. We recommend the publication, ?Screwed for Good; the case for screw caps on red wines? by Tyson Stelzer, published by Wine Press, for further reading about why we believe this is a good decision.
