With gentle wide-open slopes served by three dedicated beginner lifts, Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe has some of Lake Tahoe’s best beginner terrain. Combined with our dedicated staff, teaching methods and “beginner specific” rental equipment – you’ll have a ton of fun and learn a great new sport all at the same time.

Mt Rose Ski Tahoe,is the best place to hone your skills. Private lessons are available for individuals and small groups of all ability levels from beginner to advanced. Our instructiors will provide a one-on-one experience tailored to your specifics needs and goals. Silver Ski Clinics (which are FREE!) are designed for the wiser, more experienced skiers ages 50 and older, who are at a skill level of intermediate to advanced, and are interested in the new movement patterns used with shaped skis, and/or improving their skiing techniques. Clinics are conducted by Senior Instructiors. Participants will leave with new skills, new acquaintances and an appreciation of the mountain.

Mt Rose Ski Tahoe also offers the Mt. Rose Masters Program which allows adult ski racers to train with the Mt. Rose Falcon Race Team as well as utilize the coaches, course, and Falcon facilities during scheduled Falcon training days (Gates will not be set when Falcon athletes are not on the hill). Participants must have a lift ticket or Value Pass to participate.
