Welcome to MTB Pursuits, Tours, Lake Tekapo, New Zealand. MTB Pursuits is based in Lake Tekapo and run by Peter and Margaret Munro.  MTB Pursuits are experts with a wealth of experience, possessing a personal knowledge of the rigorous demands required to compete and participate in these types of events.  Past participants of the notorious Coast to Coast, we are both competent cyclists, runners and kayakers.

We cater to individuals and groups and can organize accommodation, travel, and equipment hire to suit your individual needs.  Tours are arranged on an individual basis so please contact us with your details so we can discuss arrangements.

MTB Pursuit BIKE Tours: – Privately Hosted “BIKE Tours ”–  Mountain bike Tours in and around Lake Tekapo - Email or Phone us to make a booking (use our Contact Page to get in touch).  LAKE FRONT TOUR: 2 hours Take in the stunning views and scenery while cruising on easy trails  MACKENZIE COUNTRY TOUR: half day - approx 4 hours Take in some back country trails and scenery, for the more experienced rider.  AROUND Lake Tekapo: full day Challenging 90km circuit of Lake Tekapo. Spectatcular ride for the fit MTBer  * * - Minimum numbers apply; children under 15 half price (if accompanied by an adult) Group discounts and tours made to suit are our speciality.

WE PROVIDE: Bike, Equipment, Expert Guides, Courtesy transport, Snack, Post ride refreshment.

YOU NEED: Clothes and shorts suitable for mountain bike riding, Strong footwear, Jacket, Fleece/Wool top, Sunblock to suit the conditions of the day.
