Welcome to Mull Pottery in Tobermory, UK Regions, United Kingdom. Mull Pottery makes high-fired, hand thrown ceramics in the picturesque village of Tobermory on the Isle of Mull with designs inspired by the West Coast of Scotland.
Established over 25 years ago, Mull Pottery have built an international reputation for quality ceramics, and now have expanded to include a Gallery and Café/Bistro.
The Pottery is made by skilled craftspeople and all pieces are hand thrown only, making each piece unique. We make all of our own glazes and our clay for which the recipe has been developed in 1982 using white stoneware porcelain. It is fired to a very high temperature of 1290°C in a carefully controlled kiln atmosphere which eliminates porosity. The robust nature and quality of this recipe allows the entire range to be used in microwaves, ovens, freezers and dishwashers.
At Mull Pottery, Tobermory, UK Regions, visit the mezzanine-level licensed Café/Bistro, which overlooks the Gallery below serving food on our Pottery tableware. Here you can enjoy the best of local produce, with Costa coffee. The Café/Bistro has an enviable reputation for home-made soups and delicious home baking with hot food being served all day.
