Welcome to Munising Public Library, Munising, United States. The Munising School / Munising Public Library is a combination school and public Library. It serves students in grades 7-12 of the Munising Middle/High school and the Public for all of Alger County. The Library is currently located on the first floor of Munising High School.
Munising Public Library Service Information: Computers with word processing and free Internet access. (Donations Welcome) A copy machine is available at the Library. Patrons may make their own copies for .15 cents each. Copies are .25 cents for double sides. If patron brings in their own paper, it is half price.
Fax service is $1.00 per page to send and .50 cents per page to receive. InterLibrary loan service. Michicard participating. There are over 276 libraries throughout Michigan where you may use your Michicard. Ask the librarian for more information. A TDD for the hearing impaired. A Kurzweil reader for vision impaired. A microfilm/microfiche reader/printer is available. Materials available on microfilm at the Library are Michigan History Magazine from 1917 to 1971, Some Michigan Civil War records, Sanborn fire maps for Alger County as well as:
