The Museum of Rocca di Monfalcone began when the Speleological Group Monfalcone collected fossils from Caves and surrounds, some of which were numerically significant and a small permanent exhibition was formed. Also known as the Museum of Paleontology, a section of the Museum exhibits geological and paleontological collections that are both fascinating and interesting. The caving section depicts various types of rocks, and the history of caving, equipment and clothing used by cavers in the postwar period to the present.
