My Prime Holiday Apartments offer holiday accommodation in Margate that's right on the beach in KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa. Our accommodation is clean, secure, close to the beach but most importantly its Prime.

My Prime Holiday Apartments are found in the popular Boulevard Complex which is 50 metres from the beach. Penthouses and Apartments come with secure parking and have views of either the beach or a garden.

Beach Penthouse:
Stunning unit on the top floor of the Margate Boulevard. With the best views of the Margate main beach and entire golden mile it really is a luxury accommodation spot. There are 4 spacious bedrooms (3 with aircon), 2 bathrooms, large lounge and dining room and the best of all is the massive wrap-around balcony which is perfect for braais or just relaxing and watching the sunrise over the ocean.

Garden Apartment:
Neat but by no means small unit on the ground floor of the Margate Boulevard. Has a large garden and veranda area for entertaining and those late afternoon braais. All 3 rooms have ceiling fans and sleeps 12 guests, Two Bathrooms and 2 parking bays. Beach access is very quick and simple. The unit has lovely garden views and the ocean can be seen from the veranda.

Penthouse Apartment:
On the top floor of the Margate Boulevard with a view of the beach and olympic pool in Margate. This unit is open plan and spacious. There are 4 lovely rooms. In the main area there is another double bed as well as a bunk bed. DSTV is available but you need to provide your own smartcard. There is an air-conditioner in the lounge. This unit sleeps up to 16 people and is perfect for large groups.

Margate is found on the South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal and is the hub of Beach Holiday Accommodation industry. Only an hour South from Durban and boasting its own airport it really is a cool destination for holiday-makers. People from up-country regularly flock to the sunny beaches throughout the year and dine out in one of the many restaurants in the area. During the day there really is nothing better to do than to laze around on one of the many beaches in the area, the main one being Margate's beach.

The busy season for Margate is during the December/January school holidays and activities are hosted throughout the week including Madigra's, Beach Festivals, Concerts, all night parties at the local nightclubs and many more.

Margate has been home to many spectacular events over the years including the annual "Sardine Run" where millions of Sardines descend upon the shorelines of the South Coast. The entire coast becomes emerged in the festivities and beaches are packed with people in hope of catching a sighting of the massive "Bait Balls".

The Crocodile Farm is situated in Ramsgate and has a large collection of crocodiles and snakes. Feeding time is a frenzy as everyone tries to catch a glimpse of the crocs devouring their lunch.
