Welcome to Nadines Dance Center, Gloucester, United States. Nadine Altieri a lifetime resident of Gloucester, trained locally as well as in the Boston area. Following graduation from Gloucester High School she enrolled at Salem State College as a business management major with a Dance minor. While still reaching for her childhood dream to own a studio, Nadine opted to transfer and major in Dance. She received a B.A. in Fine Arts Dance from Eastern Connecticut State University in 1998. During her college career Nadine was a member of the ECSU Dance Team, and a member and President of the Repertory Dance Troupe where she choreographed, produced, directed and arranged Dance productions and performance events. Following graduation, Nadine served as the Advisor of the Repertory Dance Troupe and was teaching in Mansfield and Willimantic, CT until May 1999. After returning to Gloucester, she taught in Beverly, Danvers, Burlington, North Shore Community College, St. Mel's Day School, and Endicott College just to name a few! These experiences (and constant traveling!) led to the grand opening of Nadine's Dance Center in 2002 to share her passion and knowledge of Dance. Being a mom, I understand and want to enrich children's lives with the joy of movement and Dance, instilling self-accomplishment, health, self-expression, and poise. At Nadines Dance Center, a student receives Dance education in a non-stressful environment.
Nadine has over sixteen years of teaching experience and twenty five years of Dance training. She was a competitive collegiate Dance team coach at Endicott College 1999-2004, establishing and building a successful program which made it to Nationals in 2 seasons. Nadines Dance Center had satellite programs at Hamilton-Wenham High School and Miles River Middle School in Hamilton. Miss Nadine resides in Essex with her husband Tony and two young children.
