The Nags Head Beach Inn was Originally called the Nags Head Beach Club in the 1930's. The Beach Club was the Annex to the Nags Header Hotel, one of the original hotels on the Outer Banks. It was a pavilion style dance hall where guests could see bands and vaudeville type acts. Frequently viewed and performed by Lost Colony cast members. Hotel rooms were eventually built right over the dance floor. In the early 70's, the building was moved north from the beach access at Bonnett street to where it is today.
A House was attached to the building, which is now our residence. It was called the Ocean Inn for many years. After 15 years in the restaurant business on Hatteras Island, we decided to purchase this wonderful historic building and preserve it.
Come stay with people who have lived and care about the Outer Banks.
