Welcome to Narooma Public School, Narooma, Australia. I would like to extend to you and your children a very warm welcome to Narooma Public School. Narooma School is an established School with a wealth of history and tradition. At our School we aim to provide opportunities for all children to fulfil their potential. Our students are given opportunities to develop skills and talents, build on knowledge and acquire values which will enable them to be happy, productive members of society. We welcome the active participation, co-operation and involvement of parents and the wider community in this pursuit. Our mission at Narooma Public School is to .. "Sustain a positive learning environment that focuses on the growth of the individual."
In support of this we are committed to: • providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment; • identifying and catering for individual needs; • developing critical and reflective thinking skills; • fostering a sense of pride, respect, honesty and integrity; and • extending avenues of participation involving parents and the community.
Please take the opportunity to become involved in the Parents and Citizens Association which meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month. Parental assistance in the classrooms, on excursions and in the canteen is most welcome. We encourage partnerships between home and School.
