Welcome to Neighborhood Free Medical Clinic, Lacey, United States.  The Neighborhood Free Medical Clinic opened its doors on March 30, 2004, supported entirely by donations from our generous community. With each Tuesday evening the Clinic becomes a more compelling place to volunteer, and a more skilled and inspiring setting for the kind of medical care our patients and community can be proud of.
Who is eligible for services? * Those in need of basic medical care who have no means of payment for services. What services are provided? * Free basic medical care (minor wounds and injuries, infections, respiratory ailments, for example). * Medications as prescribed by NFMC medical staff.
* Referral/enrollment services for those patients qualifying for additional community support.
What services are not provided? * Laboratory and radiology services, Mental health care, ob/gyn care, pregnancy testing, STD testing. * Nursing or assessment services by phone. * Neighborhood Free Medical Clinic endeavors to collaborate with other community agencies in an effort to avoid duplication of services. How are services accessed? * Neighborhood Free Medical Clinic is open each Tuesday night, 5:30-8:00 on a walk-in basis at 3045A Carpenter Rd. SE, Lacey, WA 98513 (Bus Route 68, directly across the street from the entrance to the Thurston County Fairgrounds). * No appointments are taken and no documentation is necessary to be seen. How are these services made possible?
* All medical, resource and reception staff at the Neighborhood Free Medical Clinic are volunteers. All equipment, medication and supplies, utilities and operational expenses are dependent upon donations from the community. * While Neighborhood Free Medical Clinic provides services at no cost to the patient, no such quality service can be provided for “free.” It is our hope that our patients and our community will be inspired and encouraged to give in some way that supports those in need.
