Nutcombe Farm dates from the early 19th Century and is a grade II listed building. To the east of the Farmhouse is a complex of high status Farm buildings contemporary to the house which have been beautifully restored to provide three holiday letting properties. A further four arch stone wagon barn has been converted to a painting studio.
Nutcombe Farm enjoys a truly magical setting on the North Devon coast of England, in Combe Martin with wonderful views across the valley. Situated in an area of outstanding beauty on the edge of Exmoor National Park, the comfortable accommodation offers a rural escape to this beautiful and unspoilt stretch of English coastline and access to the many family activities of the area, including some of the finest beaches in the country.
The village of Combe Martin is less than a mile away winding down its valley to two small rock and shingle beaches with sand at low tide. It has a rich history and has been famous for its silver mines and strawberry fields. Combe Martin is an excellent walking centre adjoining Exmoor with outstanding coastal walks especially around Hangmans Hill and Holdstone Down.
Open all year, with short breaks from September to June, you are warmly welcomed to experience a wonderful holiday by the sea.
The Cider House - Self Catering - 3/4 People
The Cider House is part of a large two storey barn that has been restored to the highest standard with English oak flooring. Like Nutcombe Cottage it has an open plan living/dining room and kitchen upstairs.
Down stairs has two bedrooms, one single with limestone en-suite shower room. French doors lead to the slate terrace over looking a cobbled and lawn courtyard.
The second bedroom is double room with en-suite shower/bathroom. Access can be made from lower and upper levels.
