Welcome to O Neill in Carbonear, a Bed and Breakfast in Carbonear, Canada. O Neill in Carbonear is a 19th century Victorian home. Care has been taken to preserve the atmosphere of this lovely Registered Heritage Property while making your comfort our first concern.
Known as Powell House, the home was built in 1899 by local businessman J.P. Powell. This Bed and Breakfast is a two and a half story subdued Victorian with numerous windows allowing the sun to warm the original wood panelling and hardwood floors. It sits comfortably on an acre of gardens and lawn. The small barn has stalls and a paddock. There is a secret garden with a tree fort waiting for children’s imaginations.
Relax with your morning coffee in our sun room or sit on the back deck overlooking the spacious gardens.

There are four rooms available for guests. Both bedrooms on the second floor have a south view from large bow windows. They are spacious and well appointed with antique furnishings. Each room has a new, sleep-inducing queen-sized bed.
